Good burgers and cold beer!

Great steak, just the way I wanted.

Here is a very nice watering hole that has a very good lunch menu. Staff was very friendly and told us to enjoy our stay in their town.

Excellent food, my favorite being the fried pork tenderloin. Large selection of craft beers. Wide selection of liquors. Stop in and stay awhile.

Sirloin steak was excellent. I thought the homemade baked beans were very good as well. Staff was friendly. Took a little bit to get my raspberry tea but not a huge deal. The beans cost extra as a sub. Didn't see that on the menu but I may have missed it. I'd suggest having staff let customers know there is an upcharge. I'll definitely be back when in the area.

When in Algona and looking for the great place to eat stop at Billie Jo's down town. The food is really good, a lot to choose from and very fair prices. Plus a wide variety of beers on tap if you get thirsty. Worth a stop.

Billie jo's has definitely gone down hill for now... Which is super disappointing because I really used to enjoy their food! The staffing there is not the most pleasant, and my latest visit there was not great. They we're out of a wide selection of the menu. I hope they get out of the funk they're in because in the past they served the best burgers and fries!

Great craft beer selection with 36 taps featuring Surly, Topping Goliath, and other independent breweries around Iowa. Easily has the best burgers in town. A weekly stop for me.

Food is ok, but wing night isn't worth it anymore because they raised prices. Also the service is the worst I've ever experienced. If it weren't for their mac and cheese bites I would never go again.

Really good beer selection for North Iowa and food is good as well. Seating can be cramped for large parties.

Best food I’ve had in Algona! Not from here but I’ve tried out all the local “favorite” hot spots before here. Juicy burger, yummy soft fries and crispy poppers. Staff is super friendly too. Highly recommend to a fellow traveler or the locals, great spot.

Large selection of quality local / craft beers. Food / service was good. Not great. Really liked the look / feel of the place. They seemed short handed tho. Overall a good experience tho

Unexpected surprise in downtown Algona! Fried green beans were a great appetizer, and the black & blue burger was nicely done. Great selection of unique beers, many from Iowa. We'll be back!

Good service nice atmosphere clean and good food the french fries are excellent. You'll be shocked at the size of the fish sandwich huge. Will go back. And a good selection of local brewed beer.

Service sucks....Shows up on touchtones app but doesn't have a touchtones jukebox ...so any songs you play will not be played at the bar....owner told me to bad....he should tell touchtones he doesn't have a machine anymore instead of letting people waste there money.....sits at his own bar like the man

I'm a touring musician who enjoys local beer and onion rings. Not only did Billie Jo's have a great selection of local beer, they also had the best damn onion rings I've had in the U.S. No joke. The only place I've eaten with better onion rings was in a little shop in Belfast, Ireland called John Longs. Be sure to stop into Billie Jo's during happy hour where they have buy one get one free drinks, and order yourself some home-made onion rings. They are made with plenty of onion, homemade batter, and fried perfectly. When you order, be sure to ask for the HOMEMADE onion rings. They do have another kind that isn't nearly as good. Also, I would recommend their local ale's on tap. The local IPA's aren't bad either.

The service was horrible. I can not think of a place that I have visited that had worse service than this place. The food was ok if you compare it to McDonald's quality. Over all I will never spend my money at this restaurant again.

I travel a lot for work and when I'm in Algona I stop at Billie Joe's. I had steak, burgers, and salads and everything has been great. Friendly servers.

The sirloin steak was surprisingly great. Good job guys. The service was top notch. Our waitress was really great.

Great food, great service, and really nice people.

Watch how much this place charges you. We were charged more than what the menu said. When I asked about it our waitress said there was a note on the door that said steak and chicken had a higher price because of covid. We looked for this note when we left, there was not one thing on their door saying any such thing.

Not a bad place some of the patrons are stuck up but otherwise good bar
